United Association Football (UAF) is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all players, coaches, volunteers, and staff. We have a zero-tolerance policy for sexual abuse, misconduct, or harassment in the workplace or during any UAF-related activity.
UAF provides clear procedures for individuals to report incidents of sexual abuse or misconduct. Any suspected or confirmed violations will be investigated promptly, and those found responsible will face appropriate disciplinary action, including termination of employment or membership and possible criminal prosecution.
No employee, volunteer, coach, or affiliate of UAF—regardless of title or position—has the authority to commit or allow sexual abuse or misconduct.
Definitions & Examples of Sexual Abuse and Misconduct
Sexual abuse or misconduct includes, but is not limited to:
1️⃣ Child Sexual Abuse
- Any sexual activity, involvement, or attempt of sexual contact with a minor (under 18 years old) where consent is not or cannot be given.
2️⃣ Non-Consensual Sexual Activity
- Sexual activity with any individual who is legally incompetent or otherwise unable to give consent.
3️⃣ Physical Sexual Violence
- Acts such as rape, sexual battery, abuse, molestation, or any attempt to commit such acts.
4️⃣ Unwanted Physical Contact
- Intentional and unwelcome touching, including:
- Pinching, patting, brushing, massaging someone’s neck or shoulders.
- Pulling against another’s body or clothes in a sexual manner.
5️⃣ Inappropriate Materials & Communications
- Possession or distribution of pornographic or sexually explicit materials (e.g., images, posters, calendars, objects).
- Unwanted electronic communications of a sexual nature (e.g., emails, text messages, social media messages, voicemails).
6️⃣ Verbal or Behavioral Misconduct
- Unwelcome sexual advances, comments, jokes, or innuendos.
- Sexually suggestive gestures, bullying, or exploitation.
- Leering, stalking, or invasion of sexual privacy.
7️⃣ Hostile Work or Team Environment
- Any sexual comments or conduct that interferes with an individual’s ability to work, perform, or participate in UAF activities.
8️⃣ Abuse of Power & Coercion
- Direct or implied threats that submission to sexual advances will be a condition of employment, team placement, or participation in UAF.
Reporting Procedure
Any suspected sexual abuse, misconduct, or inappropriate behavior should be reported immediately to:

- UAF Volunteers or Other Authorized Representatives
Important Notes:
✅ Victims or witnesses are NOT required to confront the accused before reporting.
✅ UAF will ensure a fair and impartial investigation. Anyone closely associated with those involved in the complaint will be excluded from the investigative team.
✅ UAF is committed to protecting whistleblowers and individuals who report in good faith from retaliation.
