2025-2026 UAF Academy Soccer Registration

UAF Academy Soccer (U7-U10)

The United Association Football (UAF) Academy is designed for young players (U7-U10) who are ready to develop strong technical skills, game awareness, and a love for soccer in a structured yet fun environment.

Program Overview

  • Open to players born 2019 (U7), 2018 (U8), 2017 (U9), and 2016 (U10).
  • Focused on player development, confidence with the ball, and team-based play.
  • Year-round commitment, with Fall and Spring outdoor seasons, and optional Winter training.
  • 1-2 practices per week, led by experienced volunteer coaches.
  • Players may also participate in school-based (CYSL) or recreational leagues if desired.

Team Formation & Player Placement

  • Players are grouped by skill level to create the best learning environment.
  • Teams are formed based on numbers and available coaches.
  • If interest exceeds capacity, a waitlist may be utilized.
  • Priority placement will be given to players who participated in UAF the previous season or have siblings already in the club.

2025-2026 UAF Select Soccer Registration

UAF Select Competitive Program (U11-U19)

The United Association Football (UAF) Select Program provides a challenging, competitive, and developmental soccer environment for players U11-U19 who are ready to take their game to the next level. This program focuses on skill refinement, tactical awareness, and team play while fostering a positive and supportive soccer culture.

Program Overview

  • Open to players born 2015 - 2007
  • Tryout-based selection process to form competitive teams
  • Year-long commitment with Fall & Spring seasons
  • 2 practices per week
  • Teams compete in Nebraska Youth Soccer League (NYSL)
  • Opportunity for tournament play and winter training
  • Players are encouraged to continue multi-sport participation when possible

Team Formation & Player Placement

  • Players are evaluated during tryouts based on technical ability, tactical awareness, athleticism, and coachability.
  • Teams are formed based on skill level and roster availability within each age group.
  • If roster spots are limited, a waitlist may be utilized.

Commitment & Expectations

  • Players are expected to attend all practices and games regularly.
  • Families should be prepared for league play, tournament participation, and potential travel for away games like Lincoln, Fremont, Columbus and Grand Island.
  • All players and families must adhere to UAF’s Code of Conduct, promoting sportsmanship and respect for teammates, referees, and opponents.
