Building Fundamentals, Confidence & Game Awareness

The United Association Football (UAF) Academy Program is designed for young players (U8-U10) who are ready to develop strong technical skills, improve game awareness, and build a love for soccer in a structured yet fun environment.

This program emphasizes skill development over competition while preparing players for future competitive soccer opportunities.

⚡ Footwork: Ball mastery, control, and confidence under pressure.
📍 Spacing & Positioning: Learning where to be on the field and why.
🎯 Passing & Movement: Playing with purpose and making smart decisions.
🔹 Tactical Awareness: Understanding basic formations and team play.

📌 Academy Program Details

Open to players born: 2018 (U8), 2017 (U9), 2016 (U10)
Year-round commitment (Fall & Spring seasons, with optional Winter training).
Team formation based on birth year—players are grouped by skill level to ensure the best development experience.
1-2 practices per week led by dedicated volunteer coaches.
Participation in Nebraska Youth Soccer League (NYSL) for Fall & Spring seasons.
Winter Indoor Session included to continue development in the offseason.
2 tournaments included (1 in Fall, 1 in Spring).
Players are encouraged to participate in school-based leagues (CYSL) if they choose.

GIRLS (2018, 2017, 2016)

📅 Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 → 6:15 PM - 7:15 PM
📅 Thursday, May 29th, 2025 → 6:15 PM - 7:15 PM
📅 Friday, May 30th, 2025 → 6:15 PM - 7:15 PM

📍 Location: All evaluations will be held at Roncalli Catholic High School (6401 Sorensen Pkwy, Omaha, NE).

🔹 Players must register in advance.
🔹 Evaluations are used to determine placement within the Academy program.
🔹 Players will be grouped based on skill level, and team formation will be determined by the number of players and available coaches.

💰 2025-2026 Academy Fee Structure

U8 Fees – $350

✅ 2 Nebraska Youth Soccer League Seasons (12-14 games)
✅ 1 Winter Indoor Session
✅ 2 Total Tournaments (1 Fall, 1 Spring)
❗ Any additional team activities will be collected separately.

U9/U10 Fees – $450

UAF Academy Soccer (U7-U10)

The United Association Football (UAF) Academy is designed for young players (U7-U10) who are ready to develop strong technical skills, game awareness, and a love for soccer in a structured yet fun environment.

Program Overview

Open to players born 2019 (U7), 2018 (U8), 2017 (U9), and 2016 (U10).
Focused on player development, confidence with the ball, and team-based play.
Year-round commitment, with Fall and Spring outdoor seasons, and optional Winter training.
1-2 practices per week, led by experienced volunteer coaches.
Players may also participate in school-based (CYSL) or recreational leagues if desired.

Team Formation & Player Placement

Players are grouped by skill level to create the best learning environment.
Teams are formed based on numbers and available coaches.
If interest exceeds capacity, a waitlist may be utilized.
Priority placement will be given to players who participated in UAF the previous season or have siblings already in the club.
